We are an experienced group of behavioral health practitioners, affiliated with Northwest Community Hospital, that has been growing and is now expanding to offer world-class, integrated and human-centered health and wellness services. ADI Health uses a user-friendly electronic medical record system, in-house billing and credentialing, and administrative support which allows our team to spend more time with patients, and less time with paperwork. We also offer teletherapy, which allows our providers with the flexibility to potentially work from home and provide ongoing care for patients who may be at school, traveling, on vacation, and/or that are unable to be physically available for appointments in the office.

ADI Pediatric Behavioral Health is a physician-led, women-owned outpatient behavioral health practice serving children, adolescents, adults, and families across the greater Chicago area. Position Overview
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist to join our growing outpatient practice. We welcome applications from Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists, Adult Psychiatrists with interest or experience in pediatric populations, and physicians trained across both adult and child/adolescent psychiatry.
While our primary clinical focus is children and adolescents, physicians may also maintain or develop adult patient panels within our collaborative outpatient model. Established referral relationships and strong community demand support ongoing panel growth and continuity of care.
This position offers the opportunity to build a meaningful outpatient practice within a structured, supportive, physician-led environment emphasizing clinical quality, continuity of care, professional growth, and sustainable long-term practice.
Clinical Model & Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults, including diagnostic assessment, developmental formulation, and longitudinal treatment planning
Provide ongoing outpatient psychiatric care, including psychopharmacology and psychotherapy-informed medication management as clinically appropriate
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans incorporating biological, psychological, developmental, family, educational, and environmental factors
Practice within ADI’s collaborative interdisciplinary model alongside therapists, families, schools, executive function coaches, pediatricians, and outside providers
Assess suicide risk, self-harm risk, and overall patient safety as part of ongoing clinical care
Monitor clinical progress longitudinally and adjust treatment plans thoughtfully over time
Maintain timely, clinically meaningful documentation within ADI’s cloud-based EMR (InSync)
Participate in collaborative case discussions and the continued development of clinical programs and protocols
Most physicians maintain a balanced outpatient panel consisting primarily of ADHD, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, OCD, executive functioning concerns, developmental conditions, and trauma-related presentations across child, adolescent, and young adult populations.
Our care model emphasizes developmentally informed psychiatry, positive psychiatry and strength-based approaches, longitudinal outpatient relationships, and multi-modal treatment extending beyond medication alone.
Practice Structure & Work Environment
Outpatient psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults
Comprehensive initial evaluations totaling approximately 100 minutes, typically conducted across two sessions to support thoughtful diagnostic formulation and treatment planning
30–40 minute follow-up visits incorporating E/M services and psychotherapy-informed care
Scheduling intentionally designed around thoughtful outpatient care, balanced patient volumes, interdisciplinary coordination, and sustainable physician workflows rather than high-throughput medication management
Structured follow-up cadence supporting continuity, engagement, and sustained clinical progress
Hybrid scheduling designed with flexibility and sustainability in mind, balancing in-person collaboration with telehealth efficiency
Most physicians work approximately three in-person clinic days weekly, with remaining clinical time conducted remotely based on patient and operational needs
Full-time schedule (typically Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
No overnight or weekend call responsibilities
Dedicated administrative time built into scheduling
Cloud-based EMR (InSync) with integrated telehealth, patient portal functionality, and AI-supported documentation/scribe tools designed to improve efficiency and reduce documentation burden
Administrative and operational support for scheduling, credentialing, billing, patient coordination, and practice operations
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base salary in the range of $240,000–$260,000, commensurate with experience and training
Performance-based compensation structure with strong long-term earning potential; physicians may achieve approximately $350,000–$420,000+ annually depending on scheduling preferences and clinical productivity
Additional productivity and performance incentives available

Qualifications
Required
MMD or DO from an accredited institution
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency program
Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry through the ABPN
Active Illinois medical license or eligibility for Illinois licensure
Active DEA registration or eligibility for controlled substance prescribing in Illinois
Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care
Interest in collaborative, longitudinal outpatient psychiatric practice
Strongly preferred
Fellowship training and/or board certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
Experience treating children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient settings
Experience integrating psychopharmacology with psychotherapy-informed care and broader developmental treatment planning
Comfort working within a collaborative interdisciplinary treatment model
Physicians with additional psychiatry, neurology, developmental, behavioral, or integrated specialty training relevant to outpatient child/adolescent and lifespan psychiatric care are also encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will be mission and impact driven, interested in achieving work-life balance, and will possess the following qualifications:
Doctoral degree in psychology and licensure as a psychologist; Licensed professional counselor/school psychologists will also be considered and are encouraged to apply
Active State of Illinois license (PhD, PsyD, LMFT, LCPC)
